Raw emotion

Sometimes it is the simplest stuff that makes my day. Today a beautiful soul helped me understand that I should just shrug off the problems of the world and quit asking what I can do to make the world better. She suggested that I focus on what I need. All I have to do is slowing down enough to learn how to take in the world and people around me. She struck a nerve with me and thus here comes a classic and most relevant quote by Howard Thurman.

“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

And that made for some really raw emotional minutes.
